What direction is your life moving toward right now?

Faith in Jesus is not passive... Scripture calls believers to walk with God, abide in Him, and stay rooted in His truth every single day. Hebrews 2:1 reminds the church to pay close attention to what God has spoken, because hearts stay healthiest when they remain near to His voice. Prayer, worship, and God’s Word keep believers grounded, sensitive to the Spirit, and ready to live with boldness and courage.🙏🏼

Jesus holds His people securely, and He also calls us into a relationship that is active, growing, and fully devoted. A life centered on Christ keeps moving closer to Him and keeps becoming more like Him.💙

Parkside Church is excited to host our Parkside Car & Bike Show on June 13 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and now is the time to get your ride registered!

Whether you have a classic cruiser, a custom build, a modern muscle car, a restored favorite, or a bike you're proud of, we would love to see it on display. For just $10 per vehicle, you can be part of a great day that brings our community together while supporting Parkside Summer NexGen Family Ministries and Missions.🙌🏼

The day will feature live music, pulled pork plates, ice cream, HeBrews Coffee Shop, vendor booths, kids activities, awards, drawings, and plenty of amazing vehicles to enjoy. Spectator admission is free, so invite your family and friends to come along.😉

When was the last time you accidentally grew closer to God? I can tell you... never 😳

Faith is never built through convenience. We see people all throughout Scripture, like Joshua, Daniel, and Paul, who stayed close to God through consistent devotion, prayer, and obedience.

📖 "We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away." - Hebrews 2:1

Jesus changes everything, and He is always worth pursuing.🙌🏼

What is carrying the weight of your confidence today?👀

Many people place their hope in being a decent person, having a church background, or knowing the right things about God. Yet Scripture continually points us to something greater. Salvation has always been found in a Person, not a performance.

Paul spent much of his ministry reminding believers to stay anchored in Christ and not drift toward substitutes that feel familiar but cannot transform a heart. Jesus is not an addition to life... He is life.

The closer you walk with Him, the clearer everything else becomes. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He changes everything.💙

Most people spend years trying to hold everything together through effort, pressure, and appearances, yet Jesus continually invited people into something deeper... Peter stepped out onto the water through trust, David faced giants through dependence on God, and Paul kept preaching through hardship because his strength came from Christ and not himself.

"I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." - Galatians 2:20

God calls His people to surrender, remain faithful, and keep their eyes fixed on Jesus. Real spiritual growth happens when believers stop striving for control and start walking closely with the One who already holds victory, purpose, and hope in His hands.🙏🏼
