Another step closer to completion - the marble is going in the Retreat Center chapel! Carrara Italian marble (quarried in Tuscany), custom designed for the footpace and sanctuary in the chapel, is being installed right now. All for the greater honor and glory of God!

Today, on this holy Feast of the Sacred Heart, the stunning statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Sacred Heart Retreat Center was solemnly blessed by Msgr. Gilles Wach, Prior General of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, and in the company of the Institute Canons, Seminarians, Oblates, Sister Adorers, and members of the Society of the Sacred Heart. What a glorious day! And the statue is even more magnificent under the starlit, night sky!

A most Blessed and Holy Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

And since there is in the Sacred Heart a symbol and a sensible image of the infinite love of Jesus Christ which moves us to love one another, therefore is it fit and proper that we should consecrate ourselves to His most Sacred Heart – an act which is nothing else than an offering and a binding of oneself to Jesus Christ, seeing that whatever honour, veneration and love is given to this divine Heart is really and truly given to Christ Himself.

So many faithful attended the Holy Hill pilgrimage in unity with those on the Chartres Pilgrimage on the Vigil of Pentecost! Canon Huberfeld assisted at Mass as Deacon, and Abbe Jeffery was there as MC.
