Matthew 5:10-11
““Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.”

Matthew 5 teaches us some valuable information about how the world interacts with Christian’s. If you live for Jesus - expect persecution because of the Lifestyle We Show (righteousness), The Lies that We Suffer(falsely), and the Lord We Serve (Jesus).

Don’t forget! Tomorrow we will be having our annual sunrise service and breakfast 7am at the Paintin’s (16280 County Road 55). We will be having our usual service at 9am, but we will not Sunday school as we want you to be with your families to celebrate!

When we hear the word we are changed! Every single person who has heard is changed. Whether it is a heart softening to receive God’s word, or a heart hardening to reject The Word. We are changed.

Tonight Bailey and Logan softened their hearts, were changed by the word, and understood the need to be baptized! Hallelujah!

“so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. “ Isaiah 55:11

This year there will be no candle light service the evening of Christmas Eve, but we will have our normal Sunday morning service. However, our brothers and sisters at Cheyenne Wells Christian Church have graciously invited everyone to join their candle light service at 5pm! Thank you Cheyenne Wells Christian Church!
