Good Day Burlingame!
I pray that you are all doing well. Last Sunday we did an intro to the book of Matthew. I gave a lot of interesting facts about Matthew and his book. I believe we are in for a great time learning about Jesus through the eyes of Matthew.
This week we will take a look at verses 1-17, the genealogy of Jesus. What significance does it have and what did it mean to the Jewish believers of the First century?
I want to look past the names on the page to the people who are the list. I obviously cannot go over everyone but I want to highlight a few. I want to show that no matter what our state in life is, we can be in the genealogy of Christ by faith.

I wanted to drop a few lines to say thank you to everyone who made our Resurrection Sunday services memorable. We had a great turnout at our first sunrise service since I have been pastor. The breakfast was fantastic; thank you ladies who prepared it. The service was fantastic, I had a great time. We had several guest and we enjoyed seeing each one of you; thank you for coming.
This next Sunday we will be starting in the gospel of Matthew. I really looking forward to teaching from this wonderful book.

Sunrise service at 7:00 am, Sunday April 5. It will be at 16375 S Burlingame Rd. That is 1 mile North of town. Dress warm and we will keep it short and beautiful. Hope to see you then!
