TUESDAY TESTIMONY | TYCE FIELDS

Tyce heard about the church in 2001 after being invited to his childhood friend’s ordination. The church has helped his faith grow through: worship, music, theater, retreats, Men’s Fellowship, Mexico Mission trip, serving on Session twice, and once as a Deacon, Wednesday Night’s Body & Soul dinners, Adult Ministries classes: 40 Days of Purpose, Year of the Bible, Pastors Bible Study, The Story, Believe, teaching Sunday School, and completing Gifts and Call. However, Tyce says the single most impactful area of growth has been Saturday Morning Men’s Fellowship which he has been leading for more than 10 years. Tyce’s hope for the next generation is that the community of faith reaches out and finds this next generation where they are and shepherds them into a life full of the love and grace of Christ. He says it is our challenge to adapt to how we reach and embrace them without diluting the message or compromising our core beliefs. Tyce’s favorite memory he made at church was performing in the church’s staging of Godspell where he played John the Baptist and Judas Iscariot.
