Help Shape the Future of St. Paul’s!
The Vestry is embarking on an exciting Strategic Planning Journey over the next five months, and we need your help to make it successful! We will be asking you to take some time over the next two weeks to answer five strategic questions:

1. What do you VALUE MOST about St. Paul’s?
2. Is there anything you think St. Paul’s might DO BETTER/IMPROVE over the next 3-5 years?
3. What CHALLENGES do you think St. Paul’s will need to address over the next 3-5 years?
4. What OPPORTUNITIES should St. Paul’s consider and/or explore as part of its planning process?
5. What would WILD SUCCESS for St. Paul’s look like?

You may answer these questions via our Online Survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe3Mvvnbb370dSp1vjhWbR-JTt4wa6nOOMHDQ6MaNMijlzXmQ/viewform

As we begin our Advent Journey praying with hope, our kiddos shed a little light on God's gifts for us. "Draw an Advent Wreath" we instructed. "What does hope mean?" We asked. (I especially loved the abstract 3 dimensional wreath with the candle scaling our cement bench.)

Almighty God, our Lord and Governor, to whom we must account for all our powers and privileges: Guide the people of the United States in the election of our President, Senators, and Representatives, that, by faithful administration and wise laws, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes. Bless the leaders of our land, that we may be a people at peace among ourselves and a blessing to other nations of the earth. And finally, teach our people to rely on your strength and to accept our responsibilities to our fellow citizens, that we may serve you faithfully in our generation and honor your holy Name, in this life and in the life to come.
- Book of Common Prayer, adapted by the Rev. Cal Taylor

Holy God, thank you for the courage of the eleven women who offered themselves to your service as priests on this day in Philadelphia. With gratitude we honor all those who defended their cause and assisted them in answering your call. Help us, having their bravery in mind, to continue the work of inviting, blessing, and upholding the gifts of all persons, for the building up of the Body of Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen!

A house is built! Now for a home to be made. We're grateful for a deeper relationship with Corazón and all their builders and community members. Special thanks to the people of First Congregational Church Ramona and Templo Monte Sinai Ramona for the fun of doing this together!
