A man does not wander into faithfulness. He stands.

“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.”
1 Corinthians 16:13 (NKJV)

That is not swagger. That is obedience. Keep your eyes on Christ. Open the Word. Pray when the week gets heavy. Do not quit the post He gave you.

We lift HIM up. Come sit with us under the Word.

The week will try to wear you down. Sunday is where we lift our eyes.

“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’”
Psalm 122:1 (NKJV)

At Red River Cowboy Church we gather to lift HIM up. Not to put on a show. Not to impress anybody. Just Jesus, the Word, and a church family glad you came.

Come as you are. Hat, boots, jeans, and a willing heart are plenty.

Join us next Sunday at 10:00am. There is a place for you here.

Final thought on Amos:

In the book of Amos, the position of God moves from a distant observation to an intimate presence of judgment. It begins with the Lord roaring from Zion in Amos 1:2, announcing judgment from afar. By the vision of the plumb line in Amos 7:7-9, He stands beside a wall within the city, measuring the people against His standard. Finally, in Amos 9:1, the Lord stands beside the altar itself, commanding the sanctuary to be struck down. This progression—from Zion, to the wall, to the altar—reveals how God draws ever closer, from announcement, to inspection, to the ex*****on of judgment.
