Happy 7th Birthday City Youth!!! 🥳🎂🎉
It’s been a long journey that’s been filled with so many laughs, memories and genuine conversations. We’ve been blessed by so many to get us where we are today. We’ve seen so many students come and go over the years, but rest assured we don’t take that for granted. From Hume Lake, Camp Pondo, kickball tournament, feeding the homeless, helping homeless youth, Atlas Pursuit Scavenger Hunt, bigger or better, summer retreats, birthdays, school plays, school concerts, school sports games, graduations, Baptisms, VBS, even engagements and weddings all of us that have served in Youth ministry are so lucky to have been apart of all these life events.
THANK YOU to & for that PowerPoint to Pastor Matt, Pastor Tyler & Pastor Craig in 2016 to get this thing started. 🎉🎉
THANK YOU @ lesisurelylaura for coming into the fold early on this crazy journey and making ATLAS YOUTH the special place it is 🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU Chris Revell for becoming our First Youth Pastor and bringing your now wife into the mix 🎉🎉
There’s been many volunteers over the years and we are so thankful for ALL of you!! 🎉 We even have former students that are now serving and it’s such a joy and honor to watch you all flourish in youth ministry and other ministries 🎉
THANK YOU to Pastor Jared & Pastor Justin for making sure we kept going! 🎉🎉
THANK YOU & for taking up the baton when it was passed and making sure we continued to push forward as a youth group! 🎉🎉
At 7, we have entered another new era as CITY YOUTH.
THANK YOU to , , for helping move us into our new era! 🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU for being our new Assistant Director of Youth Ministry! 🎉
We wanted to create a place where students felt seen, felt heard, felt welcomed, felt they can ask questions without judgement. Hence ATLAS was born as we aimed to give students their place on the map! Our name may have changed but CITY YOUTH still aims for the same thing. We aim to create a culture of warmth where everyone feels welcomed. No matter the name we’ve sought to bring students to Jesus and allow them to deepen their relationships with Him and be able to share their faith with others around them confidently.
Here’s to many more years of City Youth in the Burbank community 🩵💜💛
