Fraudulent Email Alert

Dear Friends,
We want to make you aware of a fraudulent email that is currently circulating and appears to come from a staff member at American Lutheran Church of Burbank.
These emails may display the staff member's name, but they are not legitimate. The sender's actual email address is not associated with our church.
These messages usually request recipients to purchase gift cards or otherwise engage with fraudulent requests.
Please do not respond to these messages. Do not click any links or fulfill any requests.
When you receive an email request from anyone with an ALC Burbank email address, please verify that it comes from an official church email address ending in .org before responding or taking any action.
In addition, if you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from ALC Burbank, please feel free to forward the email, or send a screenshot, to us for verification. Send it to Ric Hauck at [email protected] and/or [email protected].
