Andy Jobe Biography
Andy was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and raised in the rural community of Lamont. He was saved at age nine at Camp Lela, and by the fifth grade, he felt a clear calling from God to enter the ministry.
During his college years, Andy grew in his ministry through the Baptist Student Union (aka Baptist Collegiate Ministry) at both Northern Oklahoma College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in History. He continued his education at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating in 2011 with a Master of Divinity. Upon graduation, he was honored with the 2011 Lifeway Pastoral Leadership Award, a distinction given annually to only one student at each of the six Southern Baptist Seminaries.
Andy’s formal ministry began in 1989 when he was licensed to preach by Northeast Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma. In June of 1991, at the age of 21, he was called to his first pastorate at the First Baptist Church of Helena, Oklahoma. God has blessed Andy during his 35 years as a pastor, with 18 of those years served at Riverview Baptist Church in Bixby, Oklahoma. Currently he his the Director of Missions for the Cimarron Baptist Association since February of 2026. Andy is also the author of the book ASCEND: Climbing The Mountain of Discipleship Together.
Andy has been married to his wife, Dustie, for thirty-five years. Dustie is a graduate of Claremore High School and the University of South Dakota and is a Speech Pathologist at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa. Dustie enjoys running, outdoor activities, and visiting her family in Gulf Shores, Alabama. They are the proud parents of three sons: Nolan and his wife Sheridan, Mason and his wife Kylen, and their youngest, O.B. Andy and Dustie recently joined the "grandparent club" and are known as Dee Dee and Dude by their granddaughter, Charlotte.
