Easter Celebration – April 5

In First Epistle to the Corinthians 15, the apostle Paul the Apostle reminds us that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was witnessed by more than 500 people. He also makes a striking claim: if Christ has not been raised, then our faith is useless.

But the good news of Easter is that Christ truly has risen. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus defeated sin and death and secured for us the promise of new life—lives marked by good works now and everlasting joy in the age to come.

Join us as we celebrate the greatest reality in the entire universe: Christ is risen.

Good Friday Service

Remembering the death of our Savior on Good Friday can seem like a contradiction. How can the death of Jesus ever be called good?

Good Friday is good because on this day the greatest exchange in history took place. The sinless Son of God bore the guilt of sinners so that those who trust in Him might receive His righteousness. As Scripture declares, Christ became sin for us so that in Him we might be counted righteous.

Join us as we gather to remember this glorious truth and reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

• Prayer Night — Wednesday, January 7, at 7:00 PM.
• Men’s Bible Study — Saturday, January 10, at 8:00 AM at the Country House Restaurant in Alsip.
• Lord’s Day Worship — Sunday, January 11, at 9:30 AM.
