Sunday Sermon Recap | You Are Blessed ❤️

Your situation does not determine whether you are blessed.

Not the balance in your bank account.
Not sickness.
Not disappointment.
Not rejection.
Not what someone has done to you.

If you are in Christ, you are blessed.

Sunday, Pastor Bo reminded us through the Beatitudes that God’s blessing isn’t something we earn when everything in life is going right. We live from the blessing we already have through our relationship with Christ.

And because we are blessed, we don’t have to allow difficult circumstances—or difficult people—to change who we are.

Stay merciful.
Stay pure in heart.
Stay a peacemaker.
Stay useful.

As Pastor reminded us:
“Don’t let people’s bad behavior change your personality.”

Whatever the circumstances may look like today, hold on to what God says about you:
I AM BLESSED. ❤️

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8

Can God trust me?

Last night's study in Philippians 2:14-30 challenged us to look at what our faith looks like in everyday life.

Paul begins with something very practical: “Do everything without complaining and arguing.” Our words matter. We can use them to complain and tear down, or we can choose gratitude, encouragement and rejoicing.

Then Paul points to Timothy and Epaphroditus - two men whose actions demonstrated what they believed. Timothy genuinely cared about others and the work of Christ. Epaphroditus served faithfully and sacrificially, even risking his life for the work of Christ.

Their lives raise a question worth asking ourselves:
Can God trust me with what He has given me to do?

Not simply, Do I believe?
But am I dependable? Am I serving others? Do my words reflect Christ? Am I willing to put His purposes ahead of my own?

Our faith isn't only demonstrated by what we say we believe. It's demonstrated by the way we live.

The blessing didn’t stop with Abraham. It continues through Christ - and what God has placed in us is meant to be spoken, lived, and passed on. 🙌🏾

This Sunday, Pastor reminded us that there is power in the blessing we speak over our children, our families, and one another.

📖 Bible Study Recap | Philippians 2:12–15

WORK IT OUT!

Salvation is personal, and spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. God is working in us, but we also have a responsibility to participate in the process.

Through His Word, prayer, fasting, the Holy Spirit, and fellowship with one another, God continues shaping us into who He has called us to be.

And remember... growth is a journey. God is patient with you. Keep growing. ❤️

Sunday Sermon Recap

Is my plan God’s plan?

Sunday’s message challenged us to examine not only what we want, but whether we are willing to surrender our plans and desires to what God has prepared for us.

Obedience sometimes means letting go of what feels familiar, trusting God when we don’t see the whole picture, and choosing His will over our own.

A prayer worth carrying into this week:

🙏 “Lord, help me to desire what You have already prepared for me.”

I will obey. Obedience leads to blessings.
