It's been a great week so far!!! We're at the Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America in Chicago this week. Many Deaf have come from all across America, and even a couple ladies from Peru!!!! Amazing!!!! Another lady got saved yesterday!!! Praise the Lord for His goodness!!!!

I think sometimes we forget that our missionaries are still just frail humans..... Many times we only see the happy, joyous, praise the Lord moments. But they have days, just like you do, that aren't so "joyous". Take today for example... we discovered that a package for Shannan's graduation has been stolen from a "secure" locker, the hotel "lost" our reservation, the restaurant didn't send any silverware with dinner, the hotel outlet shorted out our power strip, to name a few.... And it's Father's Day weekend. I miss my Daddy💔. I could sit here and wallow in self pity, bemoaning all of these "problems" (in reality, most are truly minor inconveniences) or I can look to Heaven, from where my HELP comes from, and begin praising Him for what He's going to do next week at Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America!!!! Because if Satan is fighting this hard to put up roadblocks and cause us to have the wrong attitude, Jesus MUST be about to accomplish something GREAT 💙🙏🤟💙

We are in Illinois on our way to Michigan for church Sunday. Wednesday night was great. We got to meet a deaf man that came to church and have a long conversation about Deaf and Deaf Ministry. Pray God will lead there.
