This photo.... It looks like a generic photo, but to us it is special in so many ways. If you look closely, that is our son Ethan interpreting. Just a week and a half after his heart stopped on an operating table. God is such a great and loving father!! Ethan is interpreting for his dad preaching. It's rare that we get to be home and Jacob preach at our home church. It's also rare that our Pastor gets to sit with most of his family in a church service!!!! We had a very blessed weekend 💙

Tomorrow, we finally get to celebrate this girl! She patiently waited for a time when we could be home. We're very proud of you, Shannan and are grateful for the sacrifices you have made as a missionary kid. You didn't complain for the long days on the road, you didn't question the times of loading and unloading suitcases or staying in a new place each week, sometimes each night!!! You served with all of your heart 💙 alongside of us. We love you, our girl and look forward to seeing where God is going to take you next!!

Thank you for the prayers for our son Ethan. Please continue them. We arrived home safely and were able to see him in ICU. He is now home, and must wear a heart monitor for a couple weeks. They will not proceed with surgery until he is cleared by a cardiologist. So we are on hold...
