Save the Date for Embrace Women’s Conference!!!
April 22-23, 2023
First Baptist Natchitoches

For more reasons than one, instead of the Refresh Women's Conference held at FBC Bunkie, we will travel to Natchitoches to attend the state women's conference. I would love to enjoy this time with women from our Community. Please consider joining us and sharing with other women. 🤗

Embrace is an event designed to help all women of all cultures and all generations to realize our God-given value and purpose as we grow in Christ. Breakout sessions will offer encouragement to fulfill our purposes through physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional development.

Cost:
Earlybird: $50 (ends March 24)
Regular: $70 (ends April 19)

I have spent all of yesterday and this morning thanking and praising God for Saturday night. My heart is genuinely filled with the Joy of the Lord. He is so faithful to see His plans through. We often have a vision of what something should or should not be, but God always sees his purpose better than we can imagine. Saturday night was another mark in my record book of how great God is. To everyone who served and participated, I pray for you. I pray that you know how glad my heart is that I had an opportunity to worship our God with you. I pray that you continue to have joy in all circumstances. I love you 😘

Hello Ladies,
We have never taken an offering during Refresh, but this year is different, as has been every year before in its unique way. I want you all to meet Laura. A few months ago, Laura had one of the worst days of her life, finding out she had Leukemia. She has a Leukemia that isn’t the easiest to treat and will most likely require a bone marrow transplant. She is uninsured until her benefits begin April 1st. It wasn’t straightforward since she was living overseas. These past few months have been a whirlwind for her and her family, but she has gone from critical to stable. Please put Laura on your daily prayer list, and if you are looking for a worthy cause to invest in, please consider contributing to the cost of her health expenses. Ladies!!! Refresh is almost here. If you haven't already, gather the girls!!!! We can't wait to spend time in the presence of Jesus with you. The word of God is filled with many fascinating things that bring us Joy and refresh our joy when we are tired or spiritually exhausted. Our focus verse is John 15:11 “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” NLT
