I felt like looking up sayings I love and so I looked up “Let go and let God", this is what I got back.

Let go and let God is a popular phrase highlighting a spiritual posture of surrendering worry and control to God. It emphasizes trusting in divine timing, power, and wisdom rather than relying solely on personal strength, often serving as a call to faith during uncertainty or when facing overwhelming circumstances.

Maybe the pain didn’t come to destroy you.
Maybe it came to shape you into someone who could sit with broken people and say,

“I understand.”

Some people speak about healing from books.
Others speak about it from survival.

And there’s a difference.

The people God uses the most are usually the ones who know what it feels like to cry themselves to sleep, beg for strength, feel abandoned, battle anxiety, heartbreak, grief, betrayal, loneliness, or depression…
and still choose to keep going.

Because pain has a way of softening people who let God work through it.
It gives you compassion.
Discernment.
Empathy.
The ability to notice hurting people everyone else overlooks.

Your story was never meant to end in darkness.

Sometimes God allows you to walk through valleys so you can become a light for the people still stuck there.

Not every battle was punishment.
Some seasons were preparation.

One day the thing that almost broke you may become the exact thing God uses to help someone else survive.
