Valley Christian Church of Bullhead City Independent Christian Church Valley Christian Church of Bullhead City is a New Testament Bible believing church.

We teach only the Bible and our members consist of those who are baptized believers in Jesus Christ. We have Saturday evening and Sunday morning worship services. There are also many weekly Bible studies that we provide.

"Can you believe it?" I have heard that question asked many times. Usually it is accompanied by a story that sounds impossible to be true. When the women came to the tomb where Jesus' body had been placed, and found the stone rolled away, they might have asked one another that very question. When they went in and found the body of Jesus gone, they might have asked each other the same question. When the two men appeared in dazzling clothes, they again might have asked the same question. When the two men announced Jesus was alive, again they could have asked the same question. Then when the women told Peter, Peter could have responded with the same question. And when Peter found the tomb empty, but no two men, nothing else, the question could still apply. What is the answer to this question in regard to the resurrection of Jesus? Can you believe it? In the evening before Jesus was betrayed, Jesus had been in the upper room to celebrate the feast of the Passover with His disciples. He had gotten up and washed the feet of the disciples (John 13), and taught them about humility, and then Luke records for us that the disciples start having a dispute about which one of them was the greatest! When they return, they are all excited about how that even demons were subject to them in His name. As exciting as it was to be able to cast out demons and heal the sick, Jesus told them a better thing to be rejoicing about: having your name recorded in heaven! How can I know for certain that my sins are forgiven? Satan often makes us doubt that Jesus really has forgiven us our sins, but the words in the Bible assure us that through Jesus our sins can be forgiven. Are these just words or is there any proof? In our passage from Luke 5, Jesus announced that a man's sins were forgiven but the crowd had a problem with that. How could Jesus forgive the man his sins? Jesus then gave them proof.
