WORD for your Saturday.
Uncertainty.
After REMEMBERING yesterday, September 11, 2001, praying for America & those still suffering the pain of remembering the events of 9/11–is the future of America uncertain?

I sincerely hope not!
My Scripture reading this morning is Psalm 56-60 & Proverbs 12.

There is a lot of verses on enemies & how our enemies twist the truth & plot our demise. James 2:19:
“The demons also believe—and they shudder.” We must believe the absolute truth of God’s inspired Word.

Going through these Psalms, there is comfort for the believer. We should not be afraid because we are to place our trust in God Almighty.

God gives us light & because we live & breathe in His light—we will endure suffering. Viktor Frankl said:
“What is to give light must endure burning.” A metaphor that tells us there is a cost of living out God’s truth.

Viktor was a holocaust survivor as a light bearer helping & empowering people to overcome suffering. As believers, we have a sacred duty to empower those whom Jesus has entrusted to us.

Each of us must be a light bearer of Jesus Christ & bear the burdens in our sphere of influence. Each of us must let our light burn bright & strong & NOT burn out!

Our God will protect us. Danger will come & it will pass by. Our confidence is in our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

We might be surrounded by lions—
But—we are the lion!! We will be rescued by our great God! He is our strength! He is our fortress! He stands with us! He is our refuge!

God’s way leads us to life & it is the path that does not lead to death.

The future of America might seem uncertain for many. America faces terrorism & other threats.

Our resolve must be strengthened not by human hands, but on our knees praying! The threats we face today are different in many ways because of technology—but GOD!!!

God’s people must rise up!
God’s people must unite & stand together!

For those of us who sincerely follow Christ—
The path is CERTAIN!!!

Be blessed & have a grace filled day.

FRIDAY!!!
WORD for your Day!!!
September 11
NEVER FORGET 2001!!!

AMERICA—REMEMBER!!!
We must never stop defending America & our Constitution & our free market economy & our Judeo-Christian traditions!

2,997 reasons NOT TO FORGET!

New York World Trade Center:
2,753 people of which were 343 Firefighters & 71 Law Enforcement Officers.

The Pentagon:
184 people of which 125 were Military on the ground & 59 passengers on Flight 77.

Shanksville, Pennsylvania:
Flight 93.
40 passengers & Crew.

Total: 2,997.
NEVER FORGET!!!

Where were you on that tragic attack on America’s sovereign soil?

25 years later & look where we are.
The same ideology is even more bold & it desires to destroy America & our Constitution & our free market economy & our Judeo-Christian traditions!

What will you do?
God has called us to be good stewards of His creation & to make this world a better place wherever & whenever we can—BUT—

There is only One person who can do that—only 1 person that can restore our world to what God created it to be—AND it is NOT you or me.

Jesus Christ is the One & when He returns—He & He alone will remind us that we find our hope in Him & NOT in the world.

When our world seems like it is falling apart—we should not!

We should continue to place our faith in Christ & continue to share His story with people.

Today, how will you honor those who lost their lives on
September 11, 2001?

We should ponder those lost lives as heroes who saved many thousands of lives by giving theirs.

That is exactly what Jesus did for us! He gave His life so that we could have eternal life!

Our hope is in Him!
Do you know Him?

Be blessed & have a grace filled day! Pastor Mike

WORD for your Thursday.
John 1:47
Are you prepared? Are you ready for the battle?

Nathanael asked Jesus:
“How do you know me?”

Jesus said: “I saw you.”
In v. 50, Jesus asked Nathanael:
“Do you believe?”

Nathanael had already had stated to Jesus: “Rabbi, you are the Son of God—the King of Israel!”

Jesus knows us & sees us just as He saw Nathanael. The Lord has knowledge we do not have.

Many call themselves Christian, but do not worship Jesus as Lord. They say they are—but there is no evidence. Nathanael has already said to Philip: “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

For me, I want to be prepared to meet head on whatever the Lord puts in my path. Whatever battle if confronted. Not if, but when. Nathanael was confused as to WHY & HOW Jesus knew him. I too was confused for many years.

I am no longer confused. I know the path Jesus has laid out for me & it all begins with knowing Him & worshipping Him every single day.

We are confronted with battles, with crisis situations regularly. The question is: Are we prepared & ready for the battle?

Crisis always reveals true character. Crisis always reveals our level of spiritual fitness.

We grow spritually in our private time with the Lord. We become spiritually fit in our private time in meditation & prayer worshipping our Lord.

If our worship in our private relationship with God every day is right—we will be prepared & ready for whatever battle arises.

It is what happens in our unseen life that only God sees that makes us spiritually fit.

If we say we don’t have time—we will never be prepared or ready for the battle—the crisis. If we do not worship the Lord every day, we will be useless & a hindrance to the Kingdom.

God trains us with His weapons.
He trains us in our private, hidden, personal worship time.

Jesus knows us & sees us.
Are you prepared & ready for the battle? Worship Jesus!

Be blessed & have a grace filled day.
The battle is coming!

WORD for your Wednesday.
Psalm 42:1.
“As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for You, O God.”

I struggled with the meaning of this verse for many years. What was the Psalmist talking about? What could a “deer longing for streams of water” have to do with me?

What the heck?
And then—God placed some men in my life.

What the psalmist is saying to us is this:

It is the cry of an individual who wants or needs God more than anything else in the world.

What do you need?

Verse 2 says:
“I thirst for God, the living God.”

Are you thirsty?
Do you thirst for the living God?

If you don’t know, I may be the person that can help you understand just as the men who helped me.

Be blessed & have a grace filled day.

WORD for your Tuesday.
Psalm 39:5:
“You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to You; at best, each of us is but a breath.”

11: “…Each of us is but a breath.”

James 4:14:
“…whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a v***r that appears for a little time and then it vanishes away.”

Tomorrow???
Give that some serious consideration.

Here today—Gone tomorrow.

Be blessed & have a grace filled day.

A PROVERB WORD for you today.
Proverbs 4:20-27.
20: “My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words.”
21: “Don’t lose sight of them. Let them pe*****te deep into your heart…”
22: “…for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.”
23: “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”
24: “Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech.”
25: “Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. “
26: “Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path..”
27: “Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.”

This is YOUR job!
These are Solomon’s words.
The word “heart” rarely refers to the organ. It refers to your inner being—the seat of your concsciousness, your very core of decision making.

Your “heart” is the center of your mind, your emotions, your will.

You have the responsibility to guard your inner self from the enemy.

Solomon considered this a matter of life & death. V. 22.

V.23a: What we must do.
V.23b: Why we must do it!
V.24-27: How we can do it!

A bit of food for your Saturday.
Be blessed & have a grace filled day.
