BONUS SPRING ACTIVITY!! (4/3)
D-Now 2026
A group of LIT joined up with two other youth groups in April for a weekend of worship, small groups, and service projects.
We got to play The Bean Game with BSBC and have the best Sleepovers at our host homes. What a blast getting to do it together!

Field Day!!
Right back outdoors with our May activity but this time it was bright and sunny!
We spent the evening racing in all sorts of ways (foot, three legged, burlap) ate our dinner together and then continued with some water/egg games.
Afterwards we had an unoffocial continuation with everyone going to Andy's for a treat to cool us down 🍦❄️

Snack, craft, and fish!

We went to Tyler State Park to enjoy some time outdoors, eat some lunch, and craft in a variety of ways all together.
Did it pour on us? Yes. Was almost everyone soaked? Yes. But is that the fun of outdoors in the Spring? Yes!

Murdery Mystery Dinner

We invited the young adults to join us for a formal dinner and murder mystery game! The LIT leadership served everybody a 5 course meal and hosted the game for everyone to talk and look for the clues... With a plot twist of THREE murderers! What a fun night.

Winter Activities (3/3)
Roller Skating!!

We made it back to the rink and had some younger siblings join our group for the first time!
Skating is always a crowd favorite, especially when we add in races, Simon says, dancing AND limbo.
But while some of us were mastering the art of the slingshot all our more stay flat on the ground friends had access to some arcade games and pool tables.
Then we ended out the day together by getting Ruby's.

Game Night! ... of which we got no pictures of. But be assured it was a great time! After Menorah service we enjoyed games and pizza. Simple pleasures 💁

But in January LIT ALSO went and made up 1/5 of the campers at Messiah Texas Winter Camp!!
From check in, to worship, to hype and games, all the way to ending our nights staying up way too late playing games. We got to hang out with eachother and friends from farther away while focusing on the Father, what a blessing.

Winter Actvities! (1/3)
Hanukkah Party!!

This party was SUCH a blast. We started off with 4 team representatives doing Hanukkah trivia and choosing candle colors. Then we all drew names from a hat and off we went to buy a dollar store gag gift for whoever we got. We returned to a SCAVENGER HUNT! First team to find their color "hanukkiah", lighter, and 9 candles earned some final points for their team.
After we finished with the hunt we moved on to presenting out gifts to each other which had everyone laughing, then we played a quick dice game and moved onto dinner!
One of our favorite hanukkah parties yet and an absolute joy to end the year together.
