Lanier Holiday Chapel holds interdenominational worship services at Holiday Marina, near the Lake Lanier Islands. Each Sunday at 9am, from May - September, folks gather in a casual setting to celebrate the love of the Lord! The chapel is available for rental. It is a casual intimate setting for weddings or memorial services.

Yesterday was a sweet service. We were had a spontaneous sing along with Jimmy Dunn during our collection! That was so fun! On a more serious note, we remembered how so much was given by many for our country. Prayer is the backbone of the USA. We should pray often for her. Here’s hoping that everyone has a safe Memorial Day and God bless our United States of America.

A question was asked in our service today. Did the mother of all creation have a belly button? Important point to ponder. Our message emphasized the light of Christ will illuminate all darkness. Christ’s followers are the light of the world. This truth brings great hope. I hope all of the Mothers out there have a wonderful day!

The chapel will not have services Labor Day weekend. While we won’t be open August 31, we will continue to worship together throughout September and hope to see you!

Last Sunday when Clark had a little break, our speaker was Jason Green. He referenced how Christ heals a withered hand on the Sabbath. Saying love is what was done, not breaking the law. Jesus knew the laws even though he had no training in them. Jason went on to say that Jesus can use your life to change others. So that their change can be used for good.
