Lanier Holiday Chapel Interdenominational worship services in the woods on the hill at Holiday Marina, Lake Lanier, Buford, GA. Sundays at 9, May - September.

Lanier Holiday Chapel holds interdenominational worship services at Holiday Marina, near the Lake Lanier Islands. Each Sunday at 9am, from May - September, folks gather in a casual setting to celebrate the love of the Lord! The chapel is available for rental. It is a casual intimate setting for weddings or memorial services.

We were blessed to have brother Jimmy Dunn with us this morning. He shared several pearls of wisdom with us. If you mess up, Fess up and ask for forgiveness really spoke to me. I also agree that there are places where stop signs really aren’t necessary. He read several bible verses including Ephesians 2:10. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. Thanks to Jimmy for another great sermon!

We had a wonderful surprise this morning with special music! Our sermon on Genesis chapter 3 brought a point to ponder. What would’ve happened if Adam and Eve had admitted their sins and sincerity asked for forgiveness. Punishment for our fall from grace wouldn’t have been so harsh.

We are not having service at Lanier Holiday Chapel on July 5th. This is due to the increased crowd at the marina for 4th of July celebrations. We hope to see you July 12th when Clark continues the series on Genesis. We had a great service studying the 3rd chapter in depth today.

Yesterday was a sweet service. We were had a spontaneous sing along with Jimmy Dunn during our collection! That was so fun! On a more serious note, we remembered how so much was given by many for our country. Prayer is the backbone of the USA. We should pray often for her. Here’s hoping that everyone has a safe Memorial Day and God bless our United States of America.
