In 2013, my husband and I went on our first mission trip to El Salvador. In 2015, we started our own ministry (The Harvest Ministries) so we could continue to help people in the rural area of Usulutan. In our time there we have built 3 homes, a church, and made renovations to several homes and churches. We also raised money after Hurricane Maria, then traveled to Puerto Rico with a small group of people to help distribute funds for renovations to homes and churches that had been destroyed. The pandemic kept us from traveling for a couple of years but we were still able to raise and send money to families in El Salvador that had immediate needs.
This year will be our first trip back to actually build. This pastor and his family have been waiting for a home and currently live in some back rooms of his church. Like most pastors we have helped, he puts his time and money into making the church beautiful and helping his congregation over his own needs. We ask that you consider making any donation, big or small, to help us with this build and also praying for this trip. Due to inflation, this project is quite a bit more expensive than other builds and that makes us feel anxious but we believe that God will provide as He always has. If you can help, through prayer or a financial contribution, it would be a blessing to us and this family. We are also a 501(c)(3) so any donation can be a tax write-off.
