Mission Moment: Amigos for Christ!

In rural Nicaragua, access to clean water and a bathroom changes everything. This year, 9 rural communities are on their journey toward sustainable clean water systems in Chinandega.

Every cup of clean water, every bathroom, and every life impacted is the love of Christ made visible. Dignity and health are restored, creating opportunities for children and families to thrive.

Please pray for the Amigos team and communities, as well as the Rising team preparing to serve on a mission trip this November.

What is The Freedom Collective’s Mission?
To glorify God by bringing hope to victims of s*xual exploitation, empowering them to live free, and ultimately abolishing s*x trafficking.

What is Princess Night?
Join the freedom collective on Friday nights as we engage directly with women on the street and in motel parking lots who are being exploited, giving them roses and handmade cards that convey love, hope and a 24-hour hotline.

From RISING Church Partners Who Joined Princess Night:
“I had no idea what Princess Night was…but I signed up...we go into these places where there’s just known darkness. Princess Night is an opportunity to go into these areas and partner with Freedom Collective to let these women know they’re loved and appreciated.”

“[At Princess Night] We wanted the Holy Spirit to work through us and speak to these women...I pray every morning for God to use me and reveal to me opportunities to serve others. being a part of Princess Night and Freedom Collective was so impactful to me”

Mission Moment with 🙌

Missionaries are some of the most generous, courageous people we’ve ever met. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

🌍They leave everything familiar to go serve in places most of us will never see. And a lot of them do it without nearly enough training or support to carry them through.

We’re Miguel🙋🏾‍♂️ and 🙋🏻‍♀️Angela Martinez, the co-founders of This Is Vida Ministries. Our whole focus is missionary care and training — walking with people before, during, and through their time on the field.

Because everybody deserves to have someone in their corner. Even the ones who are out there doing the most.🙌🏼

We currently have 5 missionaries receiving training, 6 long-term missionaries in our care program who serve all over the world, and 1 in our reentry care program... Praise the Lord!

RISING folks really know how to put Love in Action! In one day, we built nearly 30 beds with our friends at the Gwinnett Co. chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

These will go to children in our community who don’t have beds of their own. Each free bed comes with a brand new mattress, pillow and bedding.

To those who sawed, sanded and drilled, thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus! 🫶

Mission Monday with 111 Project!

“111 Project had two teams putting “Love into Action” the afternoon of March 14th 🎉

There was butter flying, chopping, measuring, scooping, mixing and stirring a myriad of ingredients which resulted in twelve freezer meals ready to be delivered to a foster family or to a CarePortal recipient. 

A core group of volunteers spent three hours writing one hundred thank you cards wrapped in colorful ribbon to our Gwinnett County DFCS social workers. 
Our prayer is that the gift cards and messages encourage them in this very difficult task set before them.

Mission Monday: From Hunger to Hope!

FH2H 2026 was an awesome time full of service and community! Across three days, 1,804 volunteers came together to pack 516,456 meals, which is enough to feed 1,415 children for an entire year!

Businesses packed meals on Friday, community groups, scouts, sports teams, churches, friends, etc., packed on Saturday, and then we closed it out with RISING on Sunday!! So grateful to come together as a community and be the hands and feed of Jesus to children all over the world. Until next year! 🤎
