What a busy week for the Buford Youth Group! 💪

Not only did our teens volunteer in many different areas throughout VBS, but they also kicked off each day with Teen VBS. Between breakfast, singing, exciting activities, and encouraging lessons from Jason Hart, it was an incredible week of learning, serving, and growing together in Christ. We can't get enough of the energy, enthusiasm, and example these young people bring to our church family! 🙏

This past Sunday was a special and encouraging day for our church family as we officially installed Jim Craft, Randy Hogan, and Nick Parker as shepherds of the Buford congregation. ❤️

We’re thankful for these men and their families, for their willingness to serve, and for their commitment to lovingly shepherd God’s people according to His Word. Please join us in praying for wisdom, strength, and blessings for all of our shepherds!

There’s a difference between simply hearing God’s Word and truly delighting in it. 🌱 The blessed life is found in those who continually meditate on the law of the Lord.

We’ve had three adventure-filled nights of VBS fun out in Rattlesnake Valley! 🌵 From exciting games and creative crafts to tasty snacks, energetic songs, and Bible classes, our young trailblazers have been learning what it truly means to be Wanted by God.

And the adventure isn’t over yet… we’re saddlin’ up for our biggest night yet TONIGHT at 6:00 PM! ⭐ It's gonna be wild!

We had a WILD and wonderful night ONE of VBS! 🤠🌵 After an evening filled with exciting skits and songs, crafts, games, classes, and snacks, our trailblazers had tons of frontier fun as we learned what it means to be Wanted by God!

And the adventure isn’t over yet... there are still THREE more nights to join us! Vacation Bible School continues Monday through Wednesday from 6:00–8:15 PM each evening. We’d love to have your family ride into the Wild West with us! ⭐

Summer is officially underway for the BYG! 🎉

Our youth and families gathered together in the Upper Room for an exciting Summer Kick Off! We also loved getting to officially welcome our Summer Youth Interns, Maggie and Will, as they begin serving with our crew these next few months. Here’s to a great summer ahead! 🙌

In Acts 2, the generosity and compassion of the Church became a powerful influence to the people around them. Benevolence may not be the only mission we have in Him, but it can serve as the welcome mat that helps people find their hope in Christ.

The Wild West is calling! 🌵⭐ Vacation Bible School is riding into town May 31–June 3, and you won’t want to miss the adventure! Every night at 6:00 PM, kids 6th grade and below can enjoy games, crafts, snacks, songs, Bible classes, and plenty of western-themed fun along the way! 🐴

And grown-ups, we didn’t forget about you! Adults are invited to enjoy nightly classes and snacks too, making this a great event for the whole family. This event is completely FREE, and whether you can make one night or all four, we’d love to have you join us around the campfire! 🔥

Grace saves us. Service follows. 🤲 Ephesians 2 reminds us that while our works could never earn salvation, God still created us with a purpose. We were created to serve others and reflect Christ in the way we live.
