Honoring life with care, tradition, and dignity.
•
Serving Western New York with trusted resting spaces and planning services for generations.

Buffalo Catholic Cemeteries has been a trusted presence in Western New York for generations, offering peaceful, dignified resting places shaped by tradition, compassion, and care. We are dedicated to honoring the lives of those who have gone before us, while supporting the families who carry their memory forward. Our cemeteries offer a variety of burial and memorial options, including traditional ground burial, mausoleum entombment, and cremation interment, all within thoughtfully maintained and prayerful surroundings. Pre-planning services are also available to help individuals and families make meaningful choices in advance. At Buffalo Catholic Cemeteries, we believe in the importance of remembrance, the comfort of community, and the quiet hope that endures through every generation.

Our historic 26-flag display of each iteration of the American Flag used during our country’s 250 years has been installed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna. There is also a copy of the Declaration of Independence. The display will be active for the next two weeks before moving to another of our Catholic Cemeteries.

Good morning from Buffalo Catholic Cemeteries!

That bright moon we saw this morning is the pink, or “Strawberry Moon”, the full moon of the month of June. The lowest the Moon will be to the planet Earth until the 2040’s. There’s something special about seeing this moon before dawn, and hopefully you were up early enough to view it. It’s the same moon people have been watching for thousands of years.

Cemeteries are beautiful spaces - made more so this morning by this beautiful full moon.

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Thursday - from Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kenmore NY.

It’s been a wet Spring and early Summer, but our commitment to beautification continues. Our main office is getting a landscape makeover, and the progress is encouraging.
