Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I, Pastor Daniel, wish to share with you all that my last day as Pastor of St James HOP C.O.G.I.C. was on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Psalm 37:23 states, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
This decision to resign comes after much prayer, consideration, and God’s confirmation. It is time for me to move on to the next chapter of my God led ministry. I trust this to be the will of God.
It has been an incredible honor to serve as the leader of St James HOP C.O.G.I.C. and the community over the past seven years. I cherish the time spent in ministry, working alongside the dedicated pillars of faith who laid the foundation of the church over the last 60 years. Together, we have achieved so much in our mission to reach souls and bring them to Christ. Our last day of fellowship was bittersweet, filled with heartfelt love, shared memories, and much encouragement.
I am genuinely grateful to have been appointed as the pastor by my leader, the New York Western First Ecclesiastical Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop James R. Wright Sr., Ph.D. A big thank you to Bishop Wright and his entire cabinet for all your prayers and guidance throughout my term.
I want to express my deep gratitude to each of you who faithfully supported the ministry and served alongside me. Your unwavering commitment has made a significant impact on our collective journey.
I also want to acknowledge our Facebook family, who have actively participated in our Sunday worship, Tuesday evening prayers, and Zoom Bible studies. Your generosity and support for the ministry have been invaluable.
A special thank you goes out to my fellow pastors and laborers in the gospel who stood beside me, offering prayers, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.
As the scripture reminds us in Proverbs 20:24 (NLT), "The Lord directs a person's steps. How can anyone understand his own way?"
I kindly ask for your prayers for my family and me as we continue this faith journey. Let us all walk by faith, trusting God's perfect plan. Remember, it's not about what's good, but what truly matters.
P.S. I love you in Jesus' name, and there's nothing you can do about it!
