IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR the 2024 RENTAL SEASON:
Reservations open on January 8th, 2024. Note: All shelters in Como Lake Park and Chestnut Ridge Park are being RENUMBERED. Please check the shelter number against the park map carefully before finalizing your reservation to ensure you are renting the shelter that you really want. If you have had a family reunion in the same shelter for 30 years, it will have a new number now so PLEASE triple check!

ALSO, we are excited to announce that brand new park maps will be released soon! These maps will make it easier than ever to locate your shelter and nearby amenities. Please check back regularly!

FINALLY, the Casino Lower Meeting Room is NOW AVAILABLE for JANUARY rentals only. This way, you have more time to plan your winter function ahead of time without having to wait until the 8th.

Greetings to all! We bless the name of the Most High for the souls baptized into His Kingdom at the 10th Annual Mt. Hope Church Picnic & Baptism at Evangola State Park. Pastor Charles & Elder Kendra Walker thank our special guests— Greater Works Deliverance Fellowship and Cold Spring Bible Chapel— for joining us for this beautiful occasion of worship, fellowship, & praise! We can never thank the Lord enough for His infinite love and grace in blessing His sons and daughters through faith in Christ❤️

“For many are called, but few are chosen”- Matthew 22:14. This is the theme for the 9th Annual Pastoral & Church Anniversary Celebration of Pastor Charles & Minister Kendra Walker and Mt. Hope Community Church. We are blessed, humbled, and grateful to labor in the Lord’s vineyard for another year! In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were still able to safely fellowship & worship @ our annual picnic at Evangola State Park. What a glorious time we had!

We extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Pastor James & Lady Delores Giles and our Greater Works Deliverance Fellowship family for joining us and sharing in our blessing! The lyrics to a a gospel song sum it up, “ When all God’s children get together, WHAT A TIME!!!”❤️
