Yesterday, the Word was preached, we cast our nets, and a soul was added to the church! 🙌🏾

The Word still has power, and the church still matters! In a world full of confusion, God is still saving, restoring, healing, and calling people unto Himself. We thank God that the nets are still working and lives are still being changed through the power of Jesus Christ.

At Lincoln Memorial United Methodist Church, we believe ministry is still effective, prayer still changes things, worship still breaks chains, and the Gospel is still the answer.

“He said to them, ‘Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.’” John 21:6

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on May 14, 2022, in the tragic Tops Market mass shooting in Buffalo, New York.

At Lincoln Memorial United Methodist Church, we stand in prayer, remembrance, and solidarity with the families, survivors, and the entire Buffalo community still carrying the weight of this painful day.

We remember the 10 precious lives taken too soon, the many hearts forever changed, and the strength of a community that continues to rise with faith, love, and resilience.

Hatred will never have the final word.
Love will.
Unity will.
God will.
