Buffalo Baptist Church is one of the oldest organizations in the Kanawha Valley. Originally, BBC was located a mile above Buffalo and was named the Springfield Baptist Church. On Feburary 4, 1849 a site in Buffalo was obtained for the purpose of building a church. On Oct. 6, 1849, Sarah Allen donated land on Allen St. where the church presently stands. on July 4, 1850, the church's named was chang

ed from Springfield Baptist Church to First Baptist Church, Buffalo. We are very excited about what God is doing at our church. We have recently undertaken a building programin which we completed our new worship center. The new building contains restrooms, a new nursery, a new pastor's office and an enlarged auditorium. This new building accomidates our ever growing church very well.

Good morning! Just wanted to let everyone know that over the next few Sundays we will be focusing on the Christian and Mental Health. My prayer is that God would help us in His word to find His answers to this epidemic that we face today! Make a point to be here if you struggle with any mental health problem!

Just wanted to reach out to everyone and say what a great time we’ve had at VBS this week! Just a few reminders about tonight’s service:
Same start time but opening will be a little longer. Class will run until about 7:15. Then water slide and games! Just some reminders we will be doing water games but we will also be having service so please dress appropriately for both. Swim trunks and tshirts please. Fellas keep your t shirts on and ladies please wear a T over your suit. We want to stay appropriate please 😁 Thank you and can’t wait to see you tonight! Tell everyone you can
