New Freedom Assembly of God is now The Garden Church! Here's how YOU can help us move forward into the future!
Imagine Community Gardens is planting a new garden at The Garden Church in Buffalo!
Imagine Community Garden @ The Garden Church 2358 Delaware Ave in Buffalo NY is looking for Volunteers to help us grow fresh nutritious vegetables together with people from the community. Each gardener will be able to take a large share of those vegetables home for FREE, as they work together to provide the rest of the share for food banks and neighbors in the community that may be in need.
All that is required of gardeners is a love for Jesus and His people and the people He wants to reach and a few hours of availability each week, two hours on Saturdays from 10 to noon and one hour one other night during the week. All training, plants, soil, irrigation and supplies are provided. There's no cost.
This garden will also be partnering with The RawTools Project which is a Blacksmithing Ministry that will be creating metal artwork and garden tools right there on site, from decommissioned guns that are confiscated by local police. Imagine a garden that turns guns used in violent crimes into garden tools in a garden that produces life for people in need in Buffalo.
When you help us. You’ll be helping us to start a whole new community of believers as we plant The Garden Church!
Who?: People of every gift and skill level that love Jesus
What?: Volunteer in a life giving garden
When?: Saturdays 10-noon and one hour another night of the week (TBD) beginning in late May
