For the Second Year in A Row, our parish is hosting an “Antique & Classic Car Show” right here at our church!!

Do you have an interest in Antique/Classic Cars? Have you ever been to an Orthodox Church ? Have you ever had your car blessed with Holy Water?

Then this event is for you!!

We invite all of you to join us on Sunday June 7 for an afternoon filled with fellowship, good food, Tours of an Orthodox Church, Blessing of Cars, and rating The Antique/Classic Cars in 3 Categories!! !

As we continue our journey with preparing for The Great Feast of The Nativity of Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ According to The Flesh, I kindly ask that we please keep in our daily thoughts and prayers Thy Servant of God, Gavin, who, by The Grace of God, will be Baptized into The Holy Orthodox Faith TOMORROW SUNDAY DECEMBER 21, 2025 (8:45 AM)

Please find below a prayer that we can pray together at home with our families as we pray that God will bless the work of our hands and hear our prayers and unite Thy Servant of God - Gavin - into The Holy Orthodox Faith and a member of our beloved parish of St. George to The Glory of God!

Prayer for A Catechumen
O Lord our God, Who dwells on high and watches over the humble, Thou hast sent forth Thy only-begotten Son and God, Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the salvation of the human race. Look down upon Thy Servant of God - Gavin - who has inclined his neck to Thee, and grant him the baptism of rebirth, the remission of sins, and the garment of incorruption. Unite him to Thy One Holy Catholic, and Apostolic Church, and number him among Thy chosen flock.

We welcome Gavin into The Holy Orthodox Faith and The Holy Orthodox Church!

May Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, watch over Thy Servant of God - Gavin- and grant him continued good health, salvation, and length of days as he prepares to enter into The Holy Orthodox Faith.
