Join us on Zoom, March 6th at 12:30 p.m., as we present Yochi Rappeport, Executive Director of Women of the Wall (WOW), who will join us from Israel.

Yochi will speak about the activities of WOW, and her own life experiences as an Orthodox Jewish woman who is seeking gender equality and religious pluralism.

WOW’s central mission is to attain social and legal recognition of the right for women to wear prayer shawls, pray, and read from the Torah, collectively and aloud, at the Western Wall. WOW works to further their mission through social advocacy, education, and empowerment.

Take a Look at CBA's NEW Project Belonging Page!

https://www.congregationbethabraham.net/project-belonging.html

Project Belonging was formed last year to help organize and support inclusion efforts at CBA. It consists of events, website postings, policies and belonging initiatives all geared towards the inclusion of all people regardless of ethnicity, color, creed, gender identity, orientation and physical ability.

New to CBA website, is our Project Belonging page, a compilation of events, articles, tzedakah opportunities and more, brought to you in the spirit of increasing awareness of inclusion and belonging in our community and beyond.

CBA has partnered with LiNK Jewish Buffalo to help bring you these updates. Find out more about Jewish community inclusion activities and help support community action organizations.
