๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Prayer for Pride Month:

Loving God, we give you thanks for the beauty, courage, and joy you have given your LGBTQIA+ children. For the gifts they offer our society, church, and world, whether we are ready to acknowledge and accept them or not.

We pray for all of our trans and q***r siblings facing so much discrimination and harm from the law, culture, and church. Surround them with your protection and embolden their pride. Give your Church the courage and humility to understand we are not complete without our LGBTQIA+ siblings. Strengthen us to resist and counter the hatred faced by the q***r community with love and justice. We ask all this in the name of Christ our Mother, Brother, and Teacher. Amen.

๐Ÿ“–Join us in July for our latest congregational book study!

Inspired by Project Regeneration, the Faith Formation Committee has chosen Field Notes for the Wilderness Practices for an Evolving Faith by Sarah Bessey for a congregational book study. This study is open to any and everyone.

โ€œIn this groundbreaking and nurturing book, Bessey has given us a table for our questions, a shepherd for our curiosity, tools to cultivate what we crave, and a blessing for what wasโ€”even as we leave it behind.โ€

๐ƒ๐š๐ญ๐ž: Discussion groups will be in-person and on Zoom:
- August 9 (chapters 1-8) and
- September 13 (chapters 9-17)
- Watch for more details to follow on the discussion groups.

๐‚๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ: We will be purchasing books through Buffalo Books & Coffee for $15 per book. Sign up outside the office by Sunday, June 21st.
