The Church was originally organized as an unincorporated Baptist religious organization sometime during the year of 1913. Little was preserved of the history of the church during this period of its initial organization until its reorganization in 1915. Currently, Friendship is under the leadership of Pastor Edward Jackson, Jr.. Friendship celebrated 100 years of service August 23, 2015!

Join Us for Our Social Respite Program!

At Friendship Baptist Church, we understand the challenges that come with caring for loved ones living with dementia. That's why we're excited to offer a free Social Respite Program designed to provide support and companionship in a safe, nurturing environment.

📅 When:Second Thursdays of every month
🕥 Time:10:30 AM - 2:30 PM
📍 Where:Friendship Baptist Church, 402 Clinton St., Buffalo, NY 14204

Our program features:
🤝 Social companionship
🎨 Meaningful activities
🌈 Active engagement

This is a wonderful opportunity for care partners to connect, share experiences, and focus on their own well-being while knowing their loved ones are in good hands.
