Join us Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 11:00 am for a concert featuring the Centennial Organ as it turns 150 years old. The organ was constructed for the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the Centennial Celebration in 1876 in Philadelphia by E. & G.G. Hook & Hastings and soon after was installed at Saint Joseph Cathedral. This is the first in a series of events over the next year celebrating this historic instrument. Dr. Brad Wingert will lead a team of local organists who will play beloved instrumental, patriotic songs and even invite all to join in singing some of our national favorites. Admission is free, though a free-will offering will be gratefully accepted. Stay afterward for some 1870s favorites - root beer, kettle corn and other treats that were made popular at the Centennial! All are welcome!!
