For decades, David has served the Buffalo community with dedication, compassion, and wisdom. From his years as a Buffalo Public Schools teacher to his leadership as a Chief Operating Officer, David has remained what many call a “forever teacher.” His commitment to young people and belief in their potential continues to shape lives across our city.

As Peace Of The City’s Executive Director shares, David has long been a comrade for the children of Buffalo — someone who shows up, serves faithfully, and leads with heart.

🎉✨ Holiday Week Recap at Peace of the City! ✨🎉

We came together to celebrate the true spirit of community and togetherness. Our beloved gift-giving circle, a cherished tradition for over 30 years, brought joy to every Peace youth as they received holiday gifts. 🎁❤️

We had a blast with ornament decoration and gift wrapping competitions, along with some fun brain teasers, word searches, and crossword puzzles! Every youth left with personalized gifts and sweet treats as we gear up for the holiday break!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing donors for blessing our families with Walmart gift cards, coats, hats, and more this holiday season. 🙏 Together, we continue to build a community of courage by loving our neighbors and supporting one another.

💃🏾🕺🏽🩰We had an absolute blast dancing, enjoying delicious food, and participating in the exciting raffles at their Winter Wonderland Event. 🎶🍽️

Kudos to the amazing staff and dedicated teen employees for creating such a welcoming and safe space for everyone to gather on Saturday night. 🙌

WELLNESS THEATER | SHAKESPEARE & SOCIAL JUSTICE 🎭

This month, we’re launching our Shakespeare season by diving into the powerful story of Othello! Our teens are exploring themes of identity, courage, trust, and justice through Wellness Theater—creating safe spaces to learn, express, and grow.

We’re also thrilled to celebrate Peace Of The City’s own Kevin Manzi, who will be starring in Othello, opening this week at Performing Arts (BAVPA)! 👏🔥

We are so proud of you, Kevin, and so excited for our teens to experience this dynamic journey with you. Shakespeare Comes To (716), and the power of Theater is filling the rooms of Peace!
