We have a love for people of all ages, from little babies all the way up to seniors. We are called to make disciples and to teach them the word of God. Our time of communion is open to all believers and not just the members of our church. We have a love for missions and support several missionaries. Our pastor's name is Jason and his wife's name is Kristi. We offer Wednesday night youth group meet

ings and Sunday night discipleship classes. Sunday school meets at 9:45 am and worship service begins at 10:45 am.

“The LORD is gracious and compassionate,

What is God like?

Gracious. Compassionate. Patient. Rich in love. Good to all. ❤️

📖 Summer Reading Through the Psalms — Day 63

“I cry aloud to the LORD; I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy.” -Psalm 142:1

David wrote this prayer from a cave. He was hiding, hurting, and facing circumstances he could not fix on his own. So what did he do?

He cried out to the LORD. 🙏

There are moments when we don’t have the right words. Moments when the burden feels too heavy and the way forward seems hidden. Psalm 142 reminds us that we don’t have to carry those moments alone.

God invites us to bring Him our fears, frustrations, questions, and needs. We can cry out because He hears us. He cares for us. And His mercy is greater than whatever we are facing.

Whatever is on your heart today, bring it to the LORD

📖 Summer Reading Through the Psalms -Day 62

Psalm 139:14
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

You are not an accident. You are the handiwork of God. 🙌

David looks at the wonder of how God created him and responds with praise. Our value isn’t determined by what the world says about us, what others think of us, or even how we sometimes see ourselves. Our value begins with the One who made us.

Today, remember this truth: You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

🙏 Take a moment to thank God for creating you, knowing you, and loving you.

📖 Summer Reading Through the Psalms — Day 61

Psalm 136:1
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.”

❤️ HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!

Psalm 136 repeats this truth 26 times. Every single verse ends with the same declaration:

“His love endures forever.”

The Hebrew word translated “love” in this verse is hesed. There isn’t one English word that fully captures its meaning. Hesed describes God’s steadfast, faithful, covenant love, a love marked by mercy, loyalty, and faithfulness to His promises.

In other words, God’s love isn’t here today and gone tomorrow. His hesed is a love you can depend on because God Himself is faithful.

Why does Psalm 136 repeat it 26 times?

When circumstances change, His love endures forever.
When we fail, His love endures forever.
When we cannot see what God is doing, His love endures forever.
From creation to redemption, His love endures forever.

✝️ And we see the ultimate demonstration of God’s love in Jesus Christ:

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (NIV)

🙏 Whatever you are facing today, remember the truth Psalm 136 gives us 26 times:

☀️📖 Summer Reading Through the Psalms — Day 60

“But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” -Psalm 130:4

What an incredible reminder: with God there is forgiveness. 🙌

Our failures do not have the final word. Our past does not have the final word. Because of Jesus, forgiveness is not something we have to earn. It is something we receive by grace.

Today, instead of carrying the weight of yesterday, rest in what Christ has done for you. ✝️

There is forgiveness with the Lord!

“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.” -Psalm 125:1

Life can shift. Circumstances can change. But when our trust is in the Lord, we are standing on a foundation that cannot be moved. 🙏

📖 Summer Reading Through the Psalms ☀️
Day 58 | Psalm 121:1–2

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.”
-Psalm 121:1–2 NIV ✝️

Where do we look when life feels overwhelming?

The psalmist lifts his eyes beyond the mountains to the One who made them. Our help doesn’t ultimately come from our circumstances, our strength, or our ability to figure everything out.

Our help comes from the LORD. 🙏

Whatever mountain is in front of you today, remember that your God is greater. The One who made heaven and earth is watching over you.

👀 Lift your eyes.
🙏 Trust the Lord.
✝️ Keep your eyes on Jesus.

☀️📖 Summer Reading Through the Psalms — Day 57

“I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.” — Psalm 119:176

Today we reach the final verse of Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible. After 176 verses celebrating God’s Word, the psalmist ends not by boasting about his faithfulness, but by admitting his need: “I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant.”

What a beautiful picture of grace. We need more than directions. We need a Shepherd who comes looking for us.

Jesus said, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

When we wander, our Good Shepherd does not stop loving us. He seeks the lost, restores the wandering, and leads us home. 🐑✝️

As we finish Psalm 119, may our prayer be simple: Lord, keep our hearts close to You and our eyes fixed on Jesus.
