Hello friends!

We have our Shared Ministry Picnic and Prayer Service on Sunday, September 6th. The picnic will start at 5:00, and the prayer service around 6:00. Our Savior and Zion will provide the meat and drinks. Russell is making his famous smoked ribs! They are delicious! We ask that everyone bring a side or dessert. Please email Amy at [email protected] and let her know if you'll be attending, how many in your party, and what you plan to bring. This will help us know how much meat/drinks to provide.

What a great day of service!

Volunteers from Our Savior Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church came together at Community Outreach Ministries (COM) in support of this year’s LCMS Missouri District SHINE! event—and the impact was immediate and meaningful.

From sorting food and stocking shelves to preparing carts and helping families receive essentials, our teams showed Christ’s love in action. It was a powerful reminder that even a few hours of service can make a real difference in our community.

Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to serve, encourage, and shine the light of Christ through hands-on care for our neighbors. ✝️💜
