In the course of time, we go through stages in this life. What makes the difference is not your social status, not the money in your pocket, or the job you do. What makes the difference is Who knows your name.

If in this life only we have hope, then we are truly most miserable among men.

Bishop Jerry L Wooddell made his calling and election sure. This morning he was caught to be with the Lord in the air. Though absent from the body he is now present with the Lord.

Please pray for the family as we mourn, though not as those who have no hope. Our hope is in Christ Jesus alone.

Services will be held at Vance Brooks Memorial on Macon Rd in Columbus GA, on July 1st, 2026 at 2:00 PM, with visiting at 1:00 PM, and a grave side service afterward.

Today we celebrate a beautiful milestone — 71 years of marriage for our Senior Pastors of The Bridge. 🤍

A love story built on faith, commitment, and unwavering devotion to God and to each other. Through every season, they have modeled what it means to serve, lead, and love faithfully.

Their legacy continues to impact generations, and today we honor not only their marriage, but the life and ministry they have built together.

Happy 71st Wedding Anniversary! We are grateful for you, we celebrate you, and we thank God for your example to us all.
