Today, we’re grateful for the many ways people work and serve, while recognizing the important role labor has played in building and strengthening our nation.

We pray that this day brings you and your family time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the blessings God has given us.

Today’s sermon is about, Jesus My Shepherd

Psalm 23 tells the story of a faithful Shepherd-King who leads, provides, restores, protects, and remains with his people even through the darkest valleys. Its images echo Israel’s journey with God and ultimately point us toward Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

Friday Night at Central Texas Children’s Home

A small group of families spent Friday evening at the Central Texas Children’s Home in Buda. What a true blessing it was to share a short devo, sing songs together, enjoy a meal, and, of course, spend plenty of time playing, laughing, and making memories.

These boys and girls have experienced circumstances no child should have to endure, and we are grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them, listen, laugh, play, and remind them that they are valued, loved, and never forgotten. Sometimes ministry isn’t about having the perfect words. It can simply be about showing up, opening our hearts, and letting children know they matter.

Today’s sermon is about, Is God still worthy of my wonder?

There are some things in life that once took our breath away but after seeing them enough, we barely notice them anymore.

Could the same thing happen with God? We can know the songs, attend worship, take communion, read Scripture, pray the prayers, and believe all the right things yet somewhere along the way, the extraordinary can begin to feel ordinary. And perhaps that's one of the greatest dangers facing longtime believers. Not that we stop believing in God, but that we stop being amazed by Him. This Sunday, we'll look at some surprising moments in Scripture where people discovered what can happen when familiarity replaces wonder and how Jesus calls us back.

The cross hasn't become less glorious.
Grace hasn't become less amazing.
Jesus hasn't become less worthy.

So maybe the question isn't, Is God still worthy of my wonder? Maybe the question is: When did I stop wondering?
