The Harrison Cemetery Board members and a few friends take time during the Memorial Day weekend to be at the cemetery to accept donations on Thursday afternoon 12-6, Friday & Saturday 9-6, Sunday afternoon andMonday. Please take time to make a donation for ongoing upkeep of the cemetery for this year.

If you can't visit the cemeteries your loved ones have been laid to rest in, please send the cemetery board a contribution for upkeep. Your donations make a difference.

We did not take in enough donations this summer to take care of mowing the cemetery every 2 weeks for this mowing season. If you missed the opportunity to donate or would like to donate more for the upkeep of the Harrison Cemetery Please send donations to:

We will be collecting donations this Memorial Weekend.

Weather permitting our schedule will be:

Thursday noon to 3 pm; 3 to 6 pm;
Friday 9 am to noon; noon to 3 pm; 3 to 6 pm;
Saturday 9 am to noon; noon to 3 pm; 3 to 6 pm;
Sunday noon to 3 pm; 3 to 6 pm;
Monday 9 am to noon; noon to 3 pm; 3 to 6 pm;

Our expenses are up and donations have been down. We rely on your donation for the care and upkeep of the cemetery.

We are accepting bids for someone to mow at the Harrison Cemetery (7001 Washington Buckner) for the 2023 mowing season. Please submit a bid to Harrison Cemetery PO Box 222 Buckner IL 62819 or you can email a bid to [email protected]. We will be having a special board meeting to make a decision soon.

Remember all flowers ect was supposed to be removed from the grave sites by today. He has already had to start mowing again.
