Our spring Bible study series begins in just a few weeks! The Psalms: God Breathed Poetry, will be taught by our very own RHCF women, and we hope you'll be able to join us.

REGISTRATION is available by clicking https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdl8XRnmr5SJ7b0sPdr2wd1u2FRnvawh2EssPno7oO34HcSiw/viewform

WHEN
We have two options to choose from:
1.) Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 PM, RHCF Family Room, starting March 31st
2.) Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:30 AM, RHCF Family Room, starting April 2nd

CHILDREN
Thursday morning childcare is available:

1.) Registration in advance is required. When you sign up online, you'll have the opportunity to register each of your kiddoes into their appropriate age group. Smaller children (ages 2-8) will use classrooms 1 & 2 for free play time under supervision of approved childcare workers.

2.) A supervised Student Study Hall for older children who are able to work independently will be available for kids age 9 and older. Each student (or groups of same-family students) will have a specially reserved table in the church lobby where they can quietly work on their assignments. 9:30-11:00 will be used as a quiet study hall time, so you will need to make sure your students understand what tasks they should be working on, and the importance of maintaining a respectful work environment for other children. Reading, drawing, & puzzles are great, non-distracting options to pack for students who may finish their academic work early, but still need to stay with their assigned family table. Screens for school work only are permitted at the discretion of the study hall monitor, but may not be shared with other students. Also at the discretion of the study hall monitor, the final half hour (11:00-11:30) may be used for some outside play time (weather permitting) or some social interaction/board game time. Because of how sound carries down the hallway into the office wing, and in order to support students who need to use this time to complete school work, it is up to parents to ensure that their student is ready to work independently in a study hall environment. If you have questions about this, please reach out!

3.) At your discretion, daughters are welcome to join us as participants in the Bible study. (Yes! Get them their own study guides!!!) We are grateful for opportunities to invite our youngest women into this special experience as soon as they are ready! They benefit from rubbing elbows with our older siblings in the faith, and we benefit from their fresh exploration of the world and the Word.

STUDY GUIDES
Study guides are available at the Connect Center in the lobby for those who have registered. Be sure to complete the homework for Part 1 prior to our first meeting together!

BIBLE STUDY MENTOR (for first-timers)
If this is your first Bible study with RHCF women's ministry, you can choose to be paired with a Bible study mentor. This is a flexible relationship that can support you in getting connected, homework help, and personal encouragement.

We can't wait to study through these psalms with you and we're praying for you already!

Our fall Bible study starts in just a few weeks, and has been modified to ease the burden of the current bridge closure. If you weren't able to be at our Fall Kick-Off Sunday Service yesterday, you'll find the details here, including the link to register below.

1. What is our study?
Behold & Believe: A Bible Study on the "I Am" Statements of Jesus taught by a wonderful group of women including Jen Wilkin, Melissa Kruger, & Nancy Guthrie. The series lasts 7 weeks, beginning Tuesday, October 7th, 6:30-8:30pm, or Thursday, October 9th, 9:30-11:30am. Study guides are $10 and are available for purchase at the RHCF Connect Center.

NOTE: Complete Week 1 of your homework prior to our first meeting so that you are ready for discussion!

2. Where is our study?
We will meet in host homes for the duration of this study. When you register, your address will allow us to assign you to a group that matches your location. If you are a member of RHCF, we encourage you to consider serving as a host home for this series (especially if you are a normal woman with resident dust bunnies).

3. What if I have kids?
We will have a limited number of host homes that can accommodate children. If you are able, we ask that you consider leaving children with a spouse or family member, so that space can be reserved for those who do not have alternative childcare options. Nursing infants are always welcome to stay with mom in any group.

4. Where can I register?
To register, click here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdl8XRnmr5SJ7b0sPdr2wd1u2FRnvawh2EssPno7oO34HcSiw/viewform

5. How will I know which group I'm assigned to?
We will follow up in the coming weeks with your group assignment information.

6. What's going on after the fall?
God willing, we'll study through the books of Jonah and Habakkuk with our very own Tina Hickcox this winter. In the spring, we'll study a selection of psalms taught by an RHCF women's teaching team. Please be praying for all of these teachers now, as they are in the midst of their study & preparation.

We hope you'll join us this fall for this beautiful study!

Ladies (and gents!): Our summer book study is approaching! Meetings are Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Family Room at RHCF beginning July 7th. Each book study lasts four weeks, during which we'll read a couple chapters in advance, and then meet to discuss what we've learned & questions we've had along the way.

The link to sign up is below, but first, let's chat about the two options available to you.

1. Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds, by Jen Wilkin. Yes, I know you've probably heard about this one before, but if you're newer to our church or just haven't had the chance, you won't want to miss out on this short, approachable, and encouraging read. Have you ever wished you knew your Bible better? Have you been intimidated by certain parts of Scripture? If so, this book is for you!

Reading schedule for Women of the Word (read in advance):
July 7 Intro.—Ch. 2
July 14 Ch. 3—Ch. 5
July 21 Ch. 6—Ch. 8
July 28 Ch. 9—Conclusion

2. Scattering Seeds of Hope: Evangelism for the Discouraged & Ineffective, by Jeremy Marshall & Mary Davis. This book is exactly what it sounds like. If you've been afraid to share the gospel, intimidated, discouraged, or simply don't know where to start, this is the book for you. It's not a "method" and there are no scripts or steps to memorize. You will finish this book feeling encouraged and excited to scatter seed while trusting God to do the rest. Scattering Seeds of Hope is open to both men and women!

Reading schedule for Scattering Seeds of Hope (read in advance):
July 7 Forward—Ch. 2
July 14 Ch. 3—Ch. 4
July 21 Ch. 5—Ch. 7
July 28 Ch. 8—Over to You

Books are available in the church lobby for purchase or through your favorite book retailer.

Ministry opportunity: The Taylor family is home after an extended hospital stay for one of their children. Would you consider helping their family by providing a meal? If you can, please use this link to sign up:

The Taylor family has had a challenging few months, starting with a burst pipe, moving out of their house (temporarily), a newly diagnosed chronic illness and a recent extended hospital stay. I’d love to help lift their load and provide a few meals for them.
