VBS: Day 5 True North�
When We Need Help, We Can Trust Jesus

What a wonderful way to end an amazing week of True North VBS! We began the day in the sanctuary with one final music practice for Sunday's presentation. Next, we learned how Jesus gave His followers the Great Commission, promised to always be with them, and how the Holy Spirit came to help them share God's love. Then everyone enjoyed outdoor games, with plenty of smiles, and a few splashes! Afterward, each child received a VBS certificate and then gathered for a special indoor picnic.

It was the perfect ending to a fantastic week as we remembered that when we need help, we can trust Jesus! We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday for the children's presentation.

VBS: Day 4 True North
When We Need Hope, We Can Trust Jesus

Today, our campers learned about the greatest hope we have through Jesus as they explored the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection from Matthew 26:47–28:8. The children heard how Jesus willingly gave His life for us and how, on the third day, He rose again, defeating death and bringing hope to the world. They learned that even when things seem sad, scary, or uncertain, we can trust Jesus because He is alive and always with us.

The children expressed their creativity by making beautiful Northern Lights artwork using paint and chalk, and creating woodland animal silhouette ornaments. These projects reminded us of God's beauty and the hope we find in Him.
The campers also continued practicing their songs for Sunday's presentation and are excited to share all they have learned throughout the week.

The games were full of energy, laughter, and teamwork, and the children had a wonderful time enjoying activities with their friends.

Everyone is especially excited for tomorrow's Water Play Day and Indoor Picnic, which will be a fun-filled way to celebrate the final day of our True North adventure!

VBS: Day 3 True North�
When We Feel Powerless, We Can Trust Jesus!

Today was another exciting day at True North VBS! The children enjoyed outdoor games filled with fun, laughter, and high energy. They learned about the centurion's faith and discovered that even when we feel powerless, we can trust Jesus to guide and help us.

The spirit of Alaska soared as the children created beautiful bald eagle crafts, letting their imaginations take flight. They also enjoyed an array of delicious snacks and spent time with friends throughout the day.

We wrapped up the day by practicing our VBS music, and the children are becoming more confident with each song. We look forward to another wonderful day of learning, growing, and trusting Jesus together!

VBS: Day 2 - True North�
When We Feel Alone, We Can Trust Jesus!

Today at True North VBS, the children learned that even when they feel alone, they can trust Jesus to be with them and care for them. Our Bible stories from Matthew 6:25–33 and Matthew 18:12–14 reminded us that God knows our needs and values every one of His children.

A special focus today was our music program, which the children will present during worship on Sunday, June 28. They practiced their songs with enthusiasm and are excited to share what they have learned with the congregation.

During crafts, the children created beautiful luminaries inspired by Alaska's colorful Northern Lights. These glowing creations reminded us that Jesus is our light and guide, even when we may feel alone.

Although the weather kept our games indoors, it didn't slow anyone down! The children enjoyed energetic activities, plenty of laughter, and great teamwork throughout the day.

We look forward to another exciting day as we continue our True North adventure and discover more ways we can trust Jesus in a wild world!
