First Community Church The First Community Church of Buckeye Lake is a non-denominational church dedicated to advancing the Word of God in and around the Buckeye Lake Region.

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary and is the visible image of God. He is the fullest expression of God available to us. Salvation is possible only through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

First Community Church update.

It appears as though the water is beginning to recede and it has seemingly stopped coming in to the basement.

We are hoping to start the big clean-up process at 9:00 AM, Saturday August 22.

If you are available we'd love to have you.

Please bring buckets, mops, shop vacs, etc. It's a mess, but God is good and we are blessed.

Please continue to lift prayers for those in need and for a break in the rain forecast for tomorrow.

Thanks all, and a special thanks to those who have been manning the pump today.

FCC Folks, we've got a bit of a mess. Water continues to come into the church basement. A great big "Thank You" to all who have already worked hard to mitigate the water issues.

The Saturday Morning prayer meeting is cancelled for tomorrow, 8-22-26.

Please stay tuned for group clean-up opportunities.

The Village of Buckeye Lake has issued a voluntary evacuation order for areas west of routes 79 and 360 (west of Pizza Cottage) which includes First Community Church.

Given this order, the Men's Prayer Fellowship and Bible Study are canceled for Friday August 21. Please lift your prayers to the Almighty for those in need.

The Apostle Paul's charge to Timothy in the first century: "In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His Kingdom, I give you this charge: (2) Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction."

The charge remains the same in the 21st century. "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the Message, and the Message is heard through the Word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)

Preach the Word, and nothing less.

First Community Church Family. In response to a large number of health needs in our midst, we will be having a Prayer Service tomorrow, Thursday, evening at 7:00 PM in the Church Sanctuary. I hope to see you there.
