Our final night of Cedar Bluff Baptist VBS 2026 : Junkyard Redemption. Thank you to all the family & friends that joined with us to celebrate & recap our time together this week. To our kiddos, may you always remember all that you learned this week, especially during those times you feel things are broken. Remember His plan & His promise to make things new. -Ephesians 1-7

What a great week it has been at Cedar Bluff Baptist VBS 2026 : Junkyard Redemption!!! God has taken our hearts & made them new with joy from all the wonderful children & fellowship. To every one that had a part, we thank you!!

There is a difference between knowing about Jesus and truly becoming more like Him. Over time, the more I realize that following Christ is not about trying harder to impress God. It is about drawing closer to Him and allowing His character to shape every part of our lives.

God created us for relationship. He desires more than a Sunday experience or an occasional prayer. He wants daily fellowship with us. He wants to walk with us, speak to our hearts, and reveal His love in ways that change us from the inside out.

Sometimes we become frustrated because we don't see instant growth, but spiritual maturity is a journey. Every prayer, every act of obedience, and every moment spent in His presence is producing something beautiful. He is continually working in us, teaching us to love like Him, forgive like Him, and trust like Him.

Don't get discouraged if you are not where you want to be. Keep pressing forward. God is not finished with you. As we stay close to Him, His beauty begins to shine through our lives and touch the people around us.

My prayer today is simple. Lord, make me more like You. Let my life reflect Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your love to everyone I meet.

Some of the most meaningful discipleship doesn’t happen on a stage.
It happens in living rooms, over coffee, in quiet conversations, and in faithful prayers.

Many of us can point to a woman who helped shape our faith. She encouraged you to open your Bible. She showed you what it looks like to follow Christ. She reminded you that the mission matters.
