ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT!

Men, we’re just one week away from the FREED: Rally in the Valley in Blue Ridge, VA.

Next Friday, September 11, we’re gathering at Colonial Baptist Church for a great night of biblical preaching, worship, encouragement, and fellowship with other men.

Why should we pray if God already knows what we need?

We do not pray to impress God, or inform Him of anything He does not already know. We pray to invite God to work in our hearts and in our lives.

God can do anything He wants without us, but we can’t do anything without Him. He wants our participation, and enjoys it when we delight in working and abiding in Him as well.

John 15:4-5 says, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

Adrian Rogers says, “There is no substitute for prayer.”
