Dear friends, family, and community:
For the last 11 1/2 years, we have served as your Pastors. You took a chance on a guy that was learning as he went but knew he wanted nothing more than to Pastor. You loved my family through some hard times, good times, sadness, but brought a lot of laughter. You became family to us, you loved on us, you cared deeply for us, you blessed us more than we could ever begin to imagine. When we came to Buchanan, we had no idea what God was doing and where we were headed but little did we know, it would change our lives forever.
I write this with great sadness, I have prayed many prayers on our next direction and with that, I want you to know that this Sunday will officially be my last day as your Pastor as I have given my resignation. This does not come easy for me but due to my health, I need to take time to rest and heal. I believe that God is not finished with me yet but in order to go to what He has next for us, I need to take time to get better.
I believe that the best is still yet to come to Buchanan and that whoever God puts in this place will continue to lead and grow and expand.
I pray that you will keep in touch, please remember how much we love you. We can never begin to say thank you enough.
