Daily Devotion:

God sent more than Jesus to Earth. The Holy Spirit surrounds us all, and John does not want the followers of Jesus to forget that Jesus is only one part of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit flowed through Him as it does through all of us. Worshipping one of the three would be like worshipping none at all.

Prayer
I love to think about what it means to truly worship You, O God in heaven. The Holy Spirit has touched me, and I ask that You let it flow through me so that I too can affect others. I shall reflect on what it truly means to worship You, your son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. With these words, I hope that the Spirit truly honored You God, spoken dutifully as Your servant. Amen.

Daily Devotion:

Who in your life have you imitated in some way? Parents? Siblings? Teacher? Maybe even a fictional character? How many of us can say we have really tried to imitate Jesus? It seems so obvious but is so difficult in reality. Jesus gave His life so that we had the choice of how to live our lives: imitate Him or pursue selfish desires. This verse simply explains whom we should look at as an example. The rest is up to us.

Prayer
God, forgive me for selfishly being unwilling to sacrifice myself to You. I ask that You strengthen my resolve in the future, reminding me to follow in the clear example that You graciously sent to us, to die for our sins, the Son of man. With this newfound resolve, I shall imitate Jesus Christ, and live as an example to all others, spreading Your love to all that encounter me. I pray this in Your holy name. Amen.

Daily Devotion:

Jesus Christ is referred to as the Word of God. He has been with God since the beginning of time. When Jesus came to earth, He dwelt with man in the form of a man. When He ministered and performed many miracles, many men and women got to witness the glory that resided in Him. Now, as children of God, we have a better understanding of Christ and fuller knowledge of the glory He possesses.

Prayer
Dear God, I thank you for Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other man who could have done what He did for all mankind. Thank you, Lord, that as a result of this great gift, I am able to behold His glory, day in and day out. May I never take this for granted, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

No, it is through the Spirit of God we are able to love live God, have peace in times of distress, and operate with a clear and sound mind. These are not things of the world; they are part of God. Consider it a precious advantage that the Holy Spirit dwells in you.

Dear God, I thank you that I am now one with You as a result of Your Spirit living within me. Father I thank you that because of Your Holy Spirit, I am able to live with a sound mind and a heart full of peace in love. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Daily Devotion:

Life and godliness come from the lips of those who embrace and walk in godly wisdom. But those who choose to be wicked and focus on perverse things will always partake in unwholesome talk that will never profit a soul. Their words will only corrupt themselves and anyone who decides to try to embrace what they say.

Prayer

Dear God, I pray that I never find counsel in the words of the wicked. May I never be so foolish as to make such a careless decision, Lord. May I always remain set on Your word, and Your word alone, so that the fruit of my lips will be wise and godly to those who hear. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

You need to realize that any appearance of death or destruction that you come across, is merely a shadow. It can never taint your salvation or separate you from God in any way. As a Christian, you don't need to fear evil because you are seated with Christ in heavenly places. You are far above all principalities and powers, because you are hidden in Christ.

Prayer
Dear God, I thank you that I am seated in the heavenly places with Christ, where no force of evil can rock me or floor me. The enemy will never have power over me because of where I am with You, Lord. Thank you for covering me, Lord, and for always being with me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

God will always have your best interests at heart; He knows you more than you know yourself – and that is something! When you are faced with times of need, take heart, because God will always be faithful to ensure that all is well with you. Trust in Him always, for He is always with you.

Prayer
Dear God, I thank you for faithfulness and for all the provision You have given me in my life. Lord, I am grateful that in times of need, I need not worry, because I know that all will be well for me. Daily Devotion:

Correction is an important part of our growth as Christians. From the day we become saved, we have things in our lives that need to be worked on and improved. God is the one who helps us through this process, mostly by correcting us of our erroneous ways. God takes delight in those who take correction because it shows that they are willing to follow His guidance in their lives. A major part of loving God is being obedient; taking correction is a part of that obedience.

Prayer
Dear God, I pray that I will always be someone who takes correction well. May I never become proud and think that I am above improving my ways. I do not desire to veer into foolishness, Lord. Guide me accordingly, Father. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Daily Devotion:

God isn't here to condemn us – even though we deserve it as a result of our sinful nature. From the beginning of time, even after the fall of Man, God has always been there for those who call out to Him. Before Jesus came to the earth, the Israelites were always falling into trouble as a result of their unbelief and disobedience. They even worshipped idols. But when they cried out to God for help, He would never hold it against them. He would rescue them and set them back on their feet time and time again.

Prayer
Dear God, I am grateful for Your love and Your patience which You give so freely. Thank you, Father, for always being there for me – even in the times I did not know You. You are a gracious Father who is always quick to rescue His children. I love You, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
