We are actively looking for a new Music Director for Chapel of the Hills. This is a part time position, 25 hours per week. The responsibilities include:
· Spiritual Maturity: A demonstrated personal Christian faith, active church involvement, and a humble heart for God and spiritual leadership.
· Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading worship services and coordinating worship teams in a church setting.
· Musical Proficiency: Proficiency with at least one musical instrument (preference towards piano), coupled with strong vocal skills.
· Theological Understanding: Knowledge of a wide range of worship music genres and an understanding of how music serves the overall theological purpose of worship.
· Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to plan, organize, and manage time and resources effectively.
· Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, volunteers, and the congregation. Able to seamlessly coordinate praise & worship in collaboration with the choir.
· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sound systems, multimedia equipment, and other worship technologies.
