One of the greatest blessings of today’s Decoration Service at Mason Branch Cemetery was the beautiful music that filled the mountainside.

We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to each of the singers and musicians who shared their gifts with us today. Your songs helped create an atmosphere of worship, reflection, and remembrance as we honored those who have gone before us.

From the timeless hymns of the faith to the heartfelt special songs, every voice and every note pointed us to God’s goodness and faithfulness. What a joy it was to gather together and worship in such a beautiful setting.

Thank you to everyone who sang, played, and participated in today’s service. Your willingness to use your talents for the Lord was a blessing to all who attended.

What a beautiful morning we shared at Mason Branch Cemetery for our annual Decoration Service.

Today was a special time of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude as we honored the lives and legacies of those who have gone before us.

Surrounded by family, friends, and the beauty of God's creation, we gathered to decorate the graves, worship together, and remember the faithfulness of generations past.

Thank you to everyone who came, participated, and helped make this service so meaningful. We are especially grateful for those who work throughout the year to help maintain and care for Mason Branch Cemetery.

As we look through these photos, may we be reminded of the rich heritage we have been given and the hope we have in Christ.

🌿 Decoration Sunday at Mason Branch Cemetery 🌿

Alarka Church of God invites you to join us for Decoration Sunday on Sunday, June 14th, at 10:00 AM at Mason Branch Cemetery.

The cemetery is located just off of Mason Branch Road, on the next road to the left past our church.

Decoration Sunday is a long-standing mountain tradition and a special time when families and friends gather to honor and remember loved ones who have gone before us. It is a day of fellowship, reflection, gratitude, and respect as we care for and decorate the resting places of those who have impacted our lives.

During our gathering, we will receive a love offering that will go directly toward the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of Mason Branch Cemetery.

A limited number of chairs will be available; however, attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs for comfort.

Please note: There will be no Sunday evening service on this day.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful time together as we remember, honor, and celebrate the legacy of those who have gone before us.
