OLD TIMERS DAY – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13!

Come join us at Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Church for a special Old Timers Day!

Dress up in your old-timey clothes and come ready for a great day of worship, food, and fellowship!

After the morning service, we’ll enjoy dinner together with a Beans, Cornbread & All the Fixings theme. The church will provide chicken and ham.

Old Timers Day will also kick off our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering collection.

What a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship!

Our church family enjoyed a great Back-to-School Pool Party as we celebrated the end of summer before everyone heads back to the classroom. It was a blessing to see so many smiles, laughter, and friendships as our children and youth spent time together.

We’re thankful for everyone who helped organize the event, and helped make the evening such a success. Most of all, we’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in our young people and make lasting memories together.

As a new school year begins, please join us in praying for all of our students, teachers, school staff, and families. May God watch over them, give them wisdom, and use them to be a light for Christ wherever they go.

Today we say “see you later” to two very special members of our Puppet Ministry, Elaynah and Lexi, as they perform their final puppet show before leaving for college.

For years, they have faithfully used their talents to help share God’s love with children and our church family. Their dedication, servant’s hearts, and willingness to serve have been a blessing to Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

While we’ll certainly miss seeing them on the puppet stage, we are excited to see where God leads them in this next chapter of life. We pray that He will guide, protect, and bless them as they begin their college journey and continue to be lights for Christ wherever they go.

Thank you, Elaynah and Lexi, for the joy you’ve brought and the lives you’ve touched. You’ll always be a part of the Deep Creek family.
