Scam Alert … Friends, a church member received an email that impersonated the church regarding their charitable giving. The email informed them that their contribution was no longer being drafted from their bank and contained a partial bank account number. The message encouraged them to click a link to update their payment method. The email message also included an old church letterhead logo and the email address of a former employee. This is a fraudulent email and did not come from the church office. Please do not reply to the email or click any links. Please contact us directly if you have any concerns regarding email communications that appear to be from the church. Stay safe online!

The church office will be closed on Monday September 7 in observance of Labor Day. We will be open on Tuesday September 8. We hope everyone enjoys the holiday.

This morning on my way to work at FUMC Bryant I received a text that said “Clyde left you something in your office.Be sure and look at it as soon as you get there.” Knowing what Clyde is capable of, I was quite anxious, and there was good reason to be! He and one of his buddies had come in my office and hidden under my desk  and given each other a little haircut!
 When I arrived, this is what I found, and I am now locking down my office when I am not present!Clyde got the least of it. You can’t even see where his hair was cut and his buddy Jaxon has a buzz cut and Claude buzzed it a little bit more right in the front of his hair.

These scissors won’t even cut paper. I don’t know how they managed.🤪
