This foundation scripture passage for this lesson is 1 Corinthians 13. In this letter, the Apostle Paul admonishes us about the power of love (charity) in bringing us into compliance to the will of God.
He lets us know that our gifts and talents are not enough to please God if our lives do not demonstrate the love of God that's pure and undefiled.
He also instructs that these things will profit us NOTHING at all, as he encourges us to love, not in word only, but in deed and in truth.

The word of God encourages us to endure hardness, and that we will reap the benefits of our labor if we don't faint.

It's so important that we always stand for the word of God, and especially when we're dealing with this world's varied political agendas. God's word tells us to be not entangled with the affairs of this life, and that our primary purpose is to please the one who has called us out of darkness and into this marvelous light. Amen.

God's heart has always been to establish "one nation" of people that he could call his sons and daughters. He sent Jesus to tear down the middle wall of partition that separated Jews from Gentiles, and he wants to remove all barriers to us abiding in unity of the faith.
